According to him, the demise of the octogenarian came as a rude shock to all residents and indigenes of the ancient town in view of his immense contributions to the development of Iwoland, the State of Osun and Nigeria as a whole.
“Chief Adebayo Aremu’s demise has come to me,  as well as to others, as a rude shock,  in view of his great contributions to the development of Iwo land, State of Osun and Nigeria in general.
“As a legal luminary and philanthropist of note, Chief Adebayo Aremu, would be missed by all, especially those who have benefited from his open-handedness and wise counselling,” Alhaji Adeoti said.
He, however, took solace in the fact that the deceased led a fulfilled life and prayed to Almighty Allah to grant the Oluwo and members of his family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
“We all derive our solace in the fact that the deceased led a fulfilled life through his philanthropy and wise counsel to the young, as well as the old.
“As mortals, we must come to terms with the fact that death is an inevitable end.
“All we can do is to pray to Almighty Allah to grant Aljana fidaus to the departed and grant the living the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
“At this crucial period, my heart goes to the Oluwo, indigenes of the ancient town, as well as members of the deceased’s families and pray that Allah will continue to abide with them during and after the mourning periods,” Alhaji Adeoti further stated.
