Alhaji Gboyega Oyetola, the Osun State, All Progressive Congress (APC) governorship aspirant  and the Chief of Staff to Governor Rauf Aregbesola has congratulated the newly elected Governor of Ekiti State, Dr Kayode Fayemi and the entire citizenry of the State on their victory in last Saturday governorship election.
In a press release issued by the Ileri Oluwa Campaign Organization signed by Dayo Fashola, Alhaji Oyetola joined other well meaning Nigerians and lovers of democracy to congratulate Ekiti State Governor Elect, Dr. John  Kayode Fayemi for his victory at the election which he described as successful, free and fair.
According to the statement, “We believe your exemplary leadership qualities would see Ekiti state to greater heights. We thank the international communities and all the Diplomats who made sure they are fully on ground and massively represented to monitor the elections.
“We also commend President Muhammadu Buhari for ensuring adequate security that enabled  peaceful conduct of the election and the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for its transprancy which has furter reinforced the confidence of  Nigerians in the commission as unbiased umpire.
“We also congratulate Comrade Adams Oshiomole whose first outing as Chairman of the APC is victorious.
“We hereby urged the opposition to support the Governor elect in the collective interest and porgress of Ekiti state.
“The trend of Ekiti elections has shown that the masses are conscious that their interests are better protected by the APC.  Knowing that as progressives , rescuing Nigeria entirely from the clutches of bloodsucking PDP whose negative effects on our economy and  hunger pangs induced by the astoundingly corrupt and  inglorious rule of sixteen years  at the National level is still been felt by Nigerians till date.”
