The doctors, who are working with the Hospitals Management Board (HMB), Ministry of Health and the Local Government Service, in a letter dated 14th May 2014, thanked Fayemi for the payment of specialist allowance to consultants and the approval of 80% Internal Revenue retention by facilities.

The Association while asserting that the Governor is always ready to meet the yearnings of the workforce urged him to give approval to other issues such as the tax uniformity among health workers.
In another letter, the state command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has said that the support given to the security agency by the state government is an exhibition of Fayemi’s “spirit of liberality and egalitarianism”.

“Your Excellency has once again exhibited practically, your spirit of liberality and egalitarianism. This gesture is demonstrated in the receipt today 21st May 2014 of two patrol vans from the state government to fulfil your earlier promise of assistance to all organs of government agencies in the state from federal to local government levels.
