Election Petition: Waiting for Ladoja

The people of the state are waiting with bated breath. Former Oyo State governor Rashidi Ladoja, who contested the last governorship poll in the state on the Accord party platform, had indicated he was going to contest the result of the election at the tribunal. Two weeks after the poll he is yet to hit the tribunal, though he has up to 21 days after the election to do so. Meanwhile, some of associates who also alleged they were short-changed in their senatorial election-Chief Bisi Ilaka and Senator Femi Lanlehin, have already filed their petitions before the tribunal. There were speculations that the camp of the All Progressives Congress and Governor Abiola Ajimobi who won the poll was allegedly begging Ladoja not to challenge the result of the election but the APC has given a lie to the allegation. So let the firework begin at the tribunal in Ibadan!
