Culture and tradition took a center stage last Saturday in Lagos as the annual Ejiwa-Ulegba was held with pomp and ceremony.
It was held at the palace of the traditional monarch of Ikate-Elegushi Kingdom, Oba Saheed Ademola Elegushi, who expectedly played host to other traditional rulers and guests at the event.
Oba Elegushi was a good host. The festival lived to expectation again this year.
In attendance to witness the festival were Oniru of Iru land, Oba Abdulwasiu Omogbolahan Lawal, Onikate of Ikate-Surulere, Oba Lateef Adams, and Olota of Ota, Oba (Prof) Adeyemi Obalanlege.
The traditional rulers all commended Oba Elegushi for the successful festival.
