Nigeria striker Emmanuel Emenike has that he is a born winner after he helped Fenerbahce to win the Turkish league title.
“It was a dream come true and I hope to challenge for more laurels for both club and my country. I am a born winner and I believe my potentials is to conquer all fears. I am very happy for winning the title,” Emenike said.
“It was a tough task looking back on how we emerged champions, we have same motive, same belief and we all carried a positive mind to the pitch all the time and I think that was what gave us the edge to win the title.
“Every player, either you play for big or small team, is to win title. Its’ very important in our career and it always shows in my face at any club I played. It is a fulfilling dream for me and I hope to build on this and win more major trophies. It really means a lot.”
Emenike added: “The mood has been great since Sunday when we won the league, it’s is absolutely a thrilling mood for me and my team mates, we went, we saw and we conquered.
“It was all battle challenge but I am very grateful to God for making it possible for me to be part of a title-winning team. That was the main reason why I joined Fenerbahce.”
The Nigeria international won the Turkish second division title and was also named as the best foreign player when he featured for Karabukspor.
