    By Deborah Oladejo, Osogbo
Men of the Nigerian Police Force were on Wednesday stationed at strategic places in Osogbo, the Osun State capital, over the planned #EndSars anniversary..
As early as 8:00am, security operatives took over Olaiya, Old-Garage, Oke-Fia, Jaleyemi, and other places where protests were held in Osogbo in the past.
It was gathered that some youths had planned to protest at some popular streets in the state capital to mark a year anniversary of the #ENDSARS protest as well as address journalists.
But, despite the show of force by the Nigeria Police, some youths took to the streets in Osogbo saying that the Police are yet to change.
The protest started at Ita Olokan area of Osogbo around 12:30pm.
The protesters were armed with placards, one of which read: “End bad governance.”
The protesters demanded for good governance just as they noted that police had not stopped brutalizing the innocent people of the country.
