#EndSARS Protesters have been advised to avoid indiscriminate dumping of refuse on the roadside, gutters, and in drainages, as they go about their peaceful protest.
Instead, the protesters have been asked to make use of the LAWMA waste bins that are placed strategically across the state.
Meanwhile, the management of LAWMA has commended some of the protesters who have taken it upon themselves to clean up protest venues daily.
As an essential agency that works 24 hours every day, LAWMA during this period of protest has deployed more hands to critical areas to ensure that all waste materials are collected and properly disposed of.
The ongoing EndSars protest against police brutality which has entered the 13th day has adversely affected the Lagos economy.
Daily, thousands of youths gather across the state and in several other states across the nation to demand a total reform of the Nigerian police force.
As the congregate daily, they leave behind heaps of dirt across the state, most of which are dumped by the roadside.
These the agency are tackling head-on leaving no room or opportunity for any build-up of waste.
And to ensure that the state is consistently clean, PSP Operators have continued to work round the clock cleaning up after protesters.
Nevertheless, Lagosians have been urged to download the LAWMA APP on the play store to report any sighting of waste anywhere in the state for prompt evacuation by the agency.
