The association secretary, Temitope Adedeji, in a statement made available to journalists on Friday said the leaders of the two political parties and their supporters are brothers and sisters.
The statement expressed that both parties wine and dine together before the sudden encroachment of the miscreants that wanted to plant the seed of discomfort between them and incite crisis in the state.
According to the statement “As good Nigerians and agitators of good governance in the country, we sympathize with the two parties over the ugly incident and condemn the dastardly acts of the hoodlums.
“We, therefore, urge the leaders of the two parties to embrace peace and live in harmony for the betterment of our dear Sunshine state.
“We also use this medium to sympathise with the Governor of the state, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN, for the destruction of his campaign office and other public property across the state, including the shuttle buses”
