The ongoing #EndSARS protests across the country took another dimension in Ibadan as a 25-year-old boy was allegedly shot by police attached to the Ojoo Division of the Nigeria Police Force sparking off violent reaction from protesters.
The development led to the burning of two police stations located at Ojoo and Moniya areas of the city by an angry mob of youths.
The victim was taken to an undisclosed hospital alongside two other protesters who sustained injuries during the confrontation with the police
Residents of the areas scamper for safety when gunshots rented the air in a bid to disperse the protesters who trooped out in their hundreds despite threats to well the protests by the military beginning from today.
Virtually all strategic locations and highways have been totally blocked preventing the free flow of vehicular and human movements.
