Ewekoro Council Boss To Construct Staff Quarters

The Transition Chairman of Ewekoro Local Government, Hon.  Emmanuel Babayemi has declared its readiness to construct residential quarters for staff of the local government, so as to reduce accommodation challenges.

Babayemi said the idea is centered on the objective of encouraging the staffers to be more productive and dedicated to their duties, especially those living outside Itori, adding that welfare of the staffers is paramount to his administration.

He disclosed that the project can be achieved with the support of the Governor of Ogun State, His Excellency, Prince Dapo Abiodun, (MFR) who has given him the opportunity to serve his people and thereby spread dividends of democracy.

While performing the foundation laying of phase one, a two-bedroom flats staff quarters, the Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Hon. Afolabi Moruf Afuape,  appreciates the laudable projects. He posited that, it is the part of dividends of democracy that the electorates are expecting from the government and people in the position of leadership.

Present at the laudable event was the Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Hon. Moruf Afuape, Commissioner for Community Development and Cooperatives, Alhaji Ganiu Hamzat, Olu of Itoriland, Oba Fatai Akorede Akamo, Alawowo of Awowo, Oba Abdul-Gafar Olasunkanmi Tijani, Towulade of Akinale, Oba Ogunleye, Chief Fohun Abiola, APC Senatorial Chairman, Ogun Central.

Others include former members of the  Federal and State legislatures, Party Leaders, Chairman, Ogun State Bulk Purchasing Corporation, Engr. Anthony Ojesina, Director, Manpower Development and Training, Mr Lekan Oderinde, and Dr. Olanloye, Director, Promotion, Posting and Transfer, both of the Local Government Service Commission, Mr. B.A Owolabi, Head of Local Government Administration, Ewekoro Local Government, Management Team of the Local Government, and NULGE Chairman, Ewekoro Local Government, Comrade Ezekiel Fayan.
