The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) South-West stakeholders meeting in Ibadan aimed at reconciling aggrieved members of the party was cancelled on Thursday due to the absence of some party’s stakeholders especially the former Governor of Ekiti state, Ayodele Fayose.
Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike who heads the reconciliation committee affirmed that the reconciliation move aimed at uniting the PDP in the region of the country will be ongoing despite the hitch.
Wike while speaking with Governor’s office correspondents after the meeting held at the Government House in Agodi, asserted that the reconciliatory meeting for the South-West PDP would be a gradual process until it achieved its purpose
He lauded the Governance style of Governor Seyi Makinde which according to him, has made his frameworks a source of reference for the Federal Government in terms of regulations in the Country.
Meanwhile, the meeting’s attendants proceeded to Iwo-road to inspect the Bus-terminals which Governor Wike described as a signature project.
In attendance are the former Governor of Osun state, Olagunsoye Oyinlola and the former Governor of Ekiti state, Segun Oni.
