FG Bans ExecuJet Indefinitely For Flying Naira Marley To Abuja

The Minister For Aviation, Hadi Sirika has said the flight that conveyed Naira Marley to Abuja for a concert was approved for a different purpose.

Western Post gathered that the flight company was ExecuJet.

Answering questions during the daily briefing on the presidential task force on COVID-19 on Monday, Sirika said the company has been suspended indefinitely.

He also said the flight captain will be sanctioned for providing false information.

According to the Minister for Aviation, they provided false information and used approval granted for an illegal flight operation to convey a musician to Abuja (for an illegal concert).

“We approved a flight indeed, but not for any musician. Approved flight was to convey a Justice on official assignment, but ExecuJet illegally used it to convey musician to Abuja for concert.

“We have suspended ExecuJet’s operations INDEFINITELY, will also be FINED,” Minister for Aviation said.
