2018 World Cup has becoming an historical tournament to the  Mexican has they defeated current Champion Germany 1-0 in their first game in Russia.

It was a big shock when Hirving Lozano fired the winner in the 34th minute and German Machine were unable to come back after the break, lacking the flowing game that gave them the 2014 title and rather exposing weaknesses in all areas as they lost to Mexico for the first time at a championship.

Real Madrid’s Toni Kroos was denied by the crossbar and with a curling shot as Joachim Loew’s champions lost for only the second time in a World Cup opener, the other being 2-1 to Algeria in 1982.

Wonders never end as the game between Brazil versus Switzerland also resolved 1-1.

Steven Zuber’s goal celebration

It took a wonderful goal from Coutinho after 20 minutes to get things started but, A Steven Zuber goal from a set-piece saw Petkovic’s side draw level.

Brazil made a number of changes through Neymar and Firmino with the purpose of unlocking the Swiss defence but to no avail.
