The multi-million Naira edifice of Chief Sunday Adeyemo, popularly known as Sunday Igboho was on the wee hours of Tuesday morning gutted by fire, destroying valuables and properties.
According to a reliable source, the fire outbreak was noticed around 2 am early Tuesday morning with heavy smoke oozing from the house located at Soka area in Ibadan.
As at the time of filling this report, the source told Western Post nobody could ascertain the cause of the fire outbreak, adding that efforts are still ongoing to know the cause of the inferno.
However, all efforts to reach Sunday Igboho for comments has not yielded.
The fire incident occurred few hours after the South-West governors’ meeting held in Akure, the Ondo State capital in respect of the quit notice given to uncaptured Fulani herdsmen in the Ondo State forest, a fall out of which is generating reactions across the country.
It was gathered that firefighters from the Oyo State Fire Service arrived at the scene few hours after to douse the fire.
No statement has been obtained from Sunday Igboho on the incident.
