Some locals in Nigeria have found the first missing Chibok girl in a development that could be a breakthrough in the finding of the over 200 Chibok girls abducted by Boko Haram in April 2014.
The girl, according to a CNN report, was found at the edge of Sambisa Forest.
Activist BringbackChibokGirls# group said the girl has been handed over to her mother.
The military, according to the report, has also been informed about the development, who in turn debriefed the girl.
The discovery of the girl raises hope that some of the over 200 girls abducted from their school in Chibok in April 2014 by Boko Haram terrorists may still be alive
