Former APC NWC Member, Inuwa Abdulkadir, Dies in Sokoto

It was another sad news within the camp of the All Progressives Congress as a member of the recently-dissolved National Working Committee (NWC) of the party, Alhaji Inuwa Abdulkadir, is dead.

He died in Sokoto early Monday morning at the Uthman Dan Fodio University Teaching Hospital in Sokoto.

One yet unconfirmed report claimed his death was COVID-19 related. He was said to be in self-isolation at home before he was admitted to UDU Hospital when his situation deteriorated.

His death came barely three weeks after another chieftain of the party and former National Deputy Chairman, South, former Oyo State governor Abiola Ajimobi died.

Abdulkadir from Sokoto served as Minister under former President Goodluck Jonathan and he was also the National Vice Chairman, (North-West zone) under Adams Oshiomhole led Exco of the party.

Former governor Ajimobi had reportedly died of complications arising from COVID-19.
