Former Chairman Lagos Island Local Government, Prince Ademola Adeniji-Adele aka the Prince, passed away Thursday. He was 60.
Mr. Adeniji-Adele passed away in India where he had gone for a medical check-up after developing some complications, sources told PerSecond News.Com
Prince Adeniji-Adele was a former commissioner for Youth and Sports.
He served as a deputy gubernatorial candidate under the Peoples Democratic Party political platform in Lagos before joining the All Progressives Congress.
He was a democrat and paid for it with almost two years of his life, precisely 18 months in Kaduna prisons after being locked up by the Abacha government.
Adeniji-Adele has been largely quiet for some time as his relevance in Lagos politics dwindled.
