Former Ogun State Scouts Commissioner Died At 80

The former Group Committee Chairman, Local Association Chairman and Assistant State Scouts Commissioner in Ogun State, Mr Kayode Fatokun has gone home.

Mr Kayode Fatokun died  on Saturday 15th December 2018 at the 80 years of age after a brief illness.

After his retirement in 1990 from Ogun State Civil Service,  Pa Kayode Fatokun served as the Chief  Protocol Officer to five Governors of the State between 1979 and 1990.

He was Chief of protocol to:
Chief Bisi Onabanjo (late)
Brigadier Harris Eghagha,
Brigadier Oladayo Popoola,
Brigadier Raji Rasaki,
Commodore Mohammed Adisa Lawal ( Late).

After his retirement, he dedicated his life to Youth, Community and Religious development.

He served as Group Committee Chairman of St Anne’s Catholic Church Scout Group, Chairman Ibara Scout Local Association, Coordinator, Ogun State Scout Special Marshal Unit and Assistant State Scouts Commissioner of the Ogun State Scout Council.

Also in accordance with his Catholic faith, his funeral has been fixed as follows: 17th January 2019: Christian Wake keeping and Service of Songs at his residence B1/61 Federal Housing Estate Olomore Abeokuta, 18th January 2019: a Holy requiem Mass at St. Anne Catholic Church Ibara Abeokuta by 10am.
