Mohammed Fawehinmi, the son of late Nigerian lawyer and activist, Chief Gani Fawehinmi, is dead
The younger Fawehinmi died on Wednesday, 11 August 2021.
“He complained of difficulty in breathing this morning and was taken to the hospital and that was all,” a family source said.
The first child of late legal luminary, Mohammed, after a car accident in 2003, lost his ability to walk and had been on the wheel chair since. But he refused to be confined to the wheelchair and was still going to court to defend the rights of others like his late father.
Mohammed obtained a law degree from the University of Buckingham, England and was called to Nigerian Bar in 1998. This was after he graduated in another discipline at the University of Lagos.
