Ghanaians took to the streets after President Nana Akudo Addo announced that the 21 days lockdown order has been lifted.
The president, however, revealed that restrictions still remains on gatherings in religious centers, sports centers and others.
“Lifting these restrictions doesn’t mean we are letting our guard down,” said Akufo-Addo.
“We’ll tailor our solution to our unique social economic and cultural condition. There’s no one-size fits all approach.”
Meanwhile, the lockdown period which was extended by 14 days in Nigerian has entered its second week today.
However, little has been achieved by the order as confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the country has risen to about 500.
