Ondo State Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu has banned any form of trading in government offices mostly during working hours.
Speaking at the inauguration of the 13th Head of Service, Mr. Oluwadare Aragbaye, the governor said such attitude of trading would bring low productivity and capability in the system.
He, therefore, congratulated the new number one civil servant urging him to be above board and that much is expected from him as he has ascended the ladder.
In his response, the new head of service said he would do his best to reshaping the service of the state.
According to him, “we shall work rigorously to upgrade the technical know how of the civil servant and that the key agenda of the government shall be executed and maintained.”
He, however, said further that civil servants shall be encouraged towards increasing in the capacity building of the workers.
He, therefore requested for the cooperation of the governor in making the good dream of the civil servants a reality and assured the governor of maximum support from the workers that the governor will not be disappointed by any means.
