Gov. Akeredolu May Dissolve Cabinet Ahead of Inauguration

    As the governor of Ondo State, Rotimi Akeredolu completes his first term in office, findings revealed that he might dissolve his cabinet during the next state’s executive meeting coming Wednesday.

    A source at the government house who confirmed to Western Post correspondent said that a valedictory service is expected to be conducted by the governor in honour of all the lieutenants who have served in one capacity or the other.

    The source stated further that the governor would utilize the opportunity to appreciate all the commissioners and the aides who have taken their time to stand by him through thick and thin.

    It would be recalled that his first term would be winding off by 23rd of February, 2021, and another one commences immediately on 24th February, 2021.

    Meanwhile, Akeredolu will be the second governor in the state to rule for the second term after Dr. Olusegun Mimiko ruled between 2009 – 2017.
