The governor of Ondo State, Rotimi Akeredolu has expressed displeasure for making Agboola Ajayi, his Deputy Governor.
Akeredolu, who could not hide his feelings on a Yoruba radio program monitored by Western Post in Akure, the Ondo State Capital on Thursday, said, “despite my good deeds and free hands I gave Ajayi to operate, he disappointed me.
“I ensured he was the highest-paid Deputy Governor so far in the country. Still, he betrayed me.”
It would be recalled that State’s Deputy Governor has since been in the news for over four months over the misunderstanding with his boss, Akeredolu.
Agboola left the All Progress Congress (APC) to join the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and later to ZLP as the gubernatorial candidate of the party in the forthcoming governorship election on October 10, 2020.
