Oyo State Governor, Engr Seyi Makinde has donated two operational vehicles, an Ambulance and Civilian Nissan Bus to the State Road Traffic Management Authority (OYRTMA) to enhance and make the agency discharge its duty effectively.
This was part of his campaign promises during the 2019 elections to make the state a safe haven for citizens of the state
Receiving the vehicles at OYRTMA office Secretariat Ibadan, the chairman of the agency, Mogaji (Dr) Akin Fagbemi appreciated the gesture of governor Makinde in fulfilling his promises of making the people of the state happy since he assumed office.
The agency boss said over 38 cases of the accident were recorded during the last December in which many lives were lost and others sustained various degrees of injury.
“The ambulance given to the Authority will enhance the work of the agency especially night operation and will help to safe more lives” said Mogaji (Dr) Fagbemi.
While inspecting the ambulance, the chairman expressed his gratitude to the governor of the state for giving the agency a well-equipped ambulance and civilian bus to work for the safety of the people of the state.
“We are indeed so blessed in Oyo State to have a people loving Governor like Engr Seyi Makinde who in a few months of assumption of office has touched lives of so many people positively.
