…as education gets lion share

Oyo State Governor, Engr.Seyi Makinde has presented a budget of N266.66billion as 2021 budget on the floor of Oyo state House of Assembly.
The governor during the presentation , disclosed that the budget represents an increase of 53 per cent over that of year 2020
Tagged ‘Budget of Continued consolidation’, Governor Makinde said the budget is N12billion above last year’s budget.
According to him, the recurrent expenditure is N136 million while the capital expenditure is N130.38billion
The Governor also said 21per cent of the budget would be allocated to the education sector of the state while agriculture and health takes 6.6 per cent and 4.9 per cent respectively .
He commended the lawmakers for their supports and promised continuous collaboration with the lawmakers.
