The Deputy Speaker, Oyo State House of Assembly, Honourable Abiodun Mohammed Fadeyi has described the victory of governor Seyi Makinde at the Supreme Court as a monumental blessing to the people of the state.
Hon. Fadeyi who described the victory as divine said with the development the coast is now clear for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) government in the state led by governor Makinde to deliver more laudable projects to move the state forward.
According to him, the victory of the governor at the March 9, election was an act of God and the wish of the people of the state, just as he thanked the people for their unwavering support since the election and throughout the court period.
“I really want to thank the good people of Oyo state for their unwavering support and patience since the the tussle started. I urge you to continue in that manner because governor Makinde has very laudable programmes in his kitty to transform the state, and I believe you will be happy.
The Deputy Speaker who represents Ona Ara State Constituency in the Assembly advised the opposition party to face the reality on the issue and go to put her home together instead of fighting for what does not belong to them.
Meanwhile, Nigeria Inter-Religious Committee in Ona Ara Local Government in conjunction Christian Welfare Initiative, had on Monday held powerful intercessory prayers, to secure the victory of governor Makinde at the Supreme Court.
The well attended Inter-Denominational prayer powered by the Deputy Speaker Hon Mohammed Fadeyi had both the christian and Muslim clerics and members of the party in the council area in attendance.
