Gunmen on Sunday abducted a former governorship candidate in Imo State, Uche Nwosu.
Nwosu is former Governor Rochas Okorocha’s son-in-law.
He was kidnapped at the St. Peter’s Anglican Church, Eziama-Obaire in Nkwerre Local Government Area of Imo State.
The incident occured during the Outing Service of the victim’s mother, late Jemamah Nwosu.
Viral video on Sunday afternoon saw people who were around the area shouting and lamenting that they had put him in the bonnet of the car and ran away after shooting aporadically.
Some of the people at the scene of the incident were seen packing the used bullet shell and shouting blood of Jesus, blood of Jesus.
