That is the million dollar question on the lips of followers of Edo- State born ace broadcaster, Edmund Obilo, who has been noticeably off the airwaves for quite some months.
Obilo popularized the twice-a-week news and current affairs radio programme, Voices on Ibadan based private radio station, Splash FM 105.5.
He is also the anchor of the no-less-popular personality interview programme, Bull’s Eye.
Since Obilo disappeared from the airwaves, Voices has been anchored by Ifeoluwapo Adeniyi and other presenters.
However, many of the ardent listeners to his programmes are asking for the suave broadcaster to return. Many said they have missed his depth, probing and incisive analysis.
A source at the station said Obilo hasn’t left Splash FM and that the light-complexioned presenter is in town.
When yours truly put a call through to Obilo, he confirmed that he is still at the Ibadan radio station and that he is currently on study leave and would be back soon.
Mr. Obilo, your fans can’t wait to see you return.
