The Commander of the Amotekun security outfit in Ondo state, Adetunji Adeleye has debunked rumour that one of his officers was shot and killed in the last Wednesday’s operation by the Fulani herdsmen.
He said that no single officer of his Amotekun was missing, stressing that all his men are alive.
Adeleye speaking at a press briefing on Saturday reiterated the ban on motorcycle popularly called Okada riders operating above 6: 00pm, stressing that defaulters would be prosecuted.
He said the decision was borne of the fact that, bikes were used to perpetrate most of the devilish activities, therefore, making the security work of the sister agencies more tedious.
Adeleye added that four herdsmen were arrested by Amotekun Corps in Ondo state in connection to kidnapping, armed robbery, murder, and destruction of farmlands at Jugbere settlement/Sanusi village in Owo Local Government Area of Ondo State.
