A 27-year-old graduate of the Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile-Ife, Seun Fakorede, may have performed a feat uncommon in the country. He was nominated as a commissioner by the Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde, it was learnt.
Fakorede who bagged a Civil Engineering degree from OAU in 2016 hails from Idere area of Ibarapa Central Local Government Area of Oyo State.
He is joining the likes of Alhaja Faosat Joke Sunni from Iseyin Local Government and Professor Rapheal Afonja from Ogbomoso North Local Government who were last week nominated to join the 14 others who were inaugurated last week.

There are indications that Fakorede might be deployed to the Ministry of Youth and Sports and would become the youngest to man the ministry.
It was  learnt that members of the Oyo State House of Assembly, who are on recess, are expected to come back to screen the three nominees on Wednesday after which they would be inaugurated by Governor Makinde.
Meanwhile, some interest groups in Ibadan are protesting the nomination of Fakorede. Some of them were seen carrying placards against the nomination.
