The lawmaker, representing Ifo-Ewekoro Federal Constituency, in the House of Representatives, Hon. Ibrahim Isiaka has presented letters of employment to 26 youths in his constituency.
The letter was presented to the beneficiaries at Easy Life Hall, Wasinmi in Ewekoro Local Government Area of Ogun State on Tuesday.
Hon. Isiaka, who was represented by Chief Mrs Cecilia Jolaade, his legislative aide, said the move by the lawmaker was to provide employment opportunities for the youths, thereby improving their standards of living.
“it’s a lovable one for a kind-hearted man to facilitate federal government employment to the unemployed youths of Ifo/Ewekoro Local Government,” she said.
She noted that such a gesture has never happened in the history of Ifo/Ewekoro Federal constituency.
She urged the beneficiaries to see the offer as a welcome one and also have it in mind to replicate the kind gesture to others when they have the opportunity.
Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), in the local government,, Chief Sogbamu Ayinde described the gesture as a good opportunity given to the youths in the federal constituency.
