The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) aspirant vying for House of Representatives in the 2023 elections from Ibadan North and South East Federal Constituency, Honourable Ibrahim Ajiboye has admonished the party leadership to ensure stakeholders are given fare treatment such that will foster peace and unity for the victory of the party in 2023 Elections.
The astute politician fondly addressed as Omo Iya Eleja gave the admonition after a brief meeting with party faithful in Ibadan.
According to him, the party leadership in the state needs to work hard to bring all stakeholders together before 2023 and as well give them fare treatment and dividends of the party before the next election.
“To further strengthen the PDP, for victory in 2023, interest of all the stakeholders, members and affiliators must be well catered for and then ensure that there is love, peace and unity among members, this will no doubt strengthen the party for victory in 2023.”
While cautioning against division, Hon. Ajiboye said it is imperative that the leadership be more sensitive to issues coming up among member and put up machinery and measures that will address the issues and restore unity, peace and strength.
“The PDP should not see anyone as an enemy, rather as one indivisible body with a common objective to move on beyond 2023. Everybody should be treated as friends, there is the need to come together as friends, Only these measures will stand the party tall in 2023.
Speaking on his ambition and plan to improve the living standard of the people of his federal constituency, Ibadan North and South East Federal Constituency after his victory in 2023 election, Hon. Ajiboye said it is going to be father, mother and children relationship such that will give the people sense of belonging.
“I have gone round to carry out a visibility study of my constituency and the people, that’s why I call it father, mother and children relationship. This will bring us together to work on the progress of the area.”
“Monthly report of my activities at the House of Assembly will be related to my people. That’s why I am there to represent them.
“Again, I will tackle poverty by creating low scale businesses that will give my people money to make good living. Also, I will also use my office to influence the federal government to establish cottage and small scale industries in my federal constituency, this will go a long way to reduce poverty and hardship among my people.
The vibrant politician, Omo Iya Eleja while commending the on going administration of governor Seyi Makinde for his remarkable achievements said he will facilitate loan from the federal government to be accessed by members of his constituency irrespective of party affiliations to improve their lives.
Asked to comment on activities and achievements of past representatives of the area, Hon. Ajiboye said they failed the people because they did not do what was constitutionally right for the people, but only enriched themselves with proceeds from the office.
He said it is the constitutional responsibly of the epresentative to give back dividend of democracy to the people they are representing, adding that majority of them failed due to lack of fear of God.
He then appealed to the people to rally support for him and the government of Engr. Makinde in order to enable him deliver more dividends of democracy to the good people of the state beyond 2023.
