The echo of defections again waltzed through the walls of the National Assembly yesterday as four members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the House of Representatives dumped the party for different political parties.
Two of the members who had been embroiled in disagreement with Governor Abiola Ajimobi are from Oyo State. They are Adedapo Lam-Adesina and Dada Owoleye. Lam Adesina left for African Democratic Congress.
According to the Speaker of the House, who announced their defection during plenary on Tuesday, the four lawmakers are: Adedapo Lam-Adesina (Oyo State), Dada Awoleye (Oyo State), Segun Williams (Ogun State) and Lawali Hassan (Zamfara State).
The defections are another blow to the APC which is trying to resolve the complaints that greeted its primaries across the country.
