How 27-Year-Old Kwara Poly Student Won Season 4 Bull Fuji Talent Hunt

It was a celebration of music and education as 27-year- old Mass Communication Student of Kwara State Polytechnic, Ilorin, Kwara State, Ibrahim Ishola Adeola, a.k.a. “Eriki” won Season 4 of BULL FUJI TALENT HUNT.

It was organized by Nigeria foremost distiller, Intercontinental Distillers Ltd (IDL), makers of Bull Dry Gin and Bull Dark Rum and other quality world class drinks.

The keenly contested grand finale held at Mauve 21 Events Centre, Adeoyo Junction, Ring Road, Ibadan on Friday June 3, 2016, was witnessed by fuji music lovers and fun seekers.

Chief Operating Officer, Kingsize Entertainment Lanre Alabi said It was a day fuji music generic paraded the best and talented fuji acts from Ibadan, Ijebu-Ode, Ikorodu, Oshodi, Osogbo and Akure in the South-west and Ilorin in North-central.

The event was witnessed by President Fuji Musicians Association of Nigeria, Alh. Moroof Ayinde Shado and his National Executives, veteran fuji artistes and FUMAN states officers in entire Southwest part of Nigeria.

Bull Fuji Talent Hunt Season 4, packaged by Kingsize Entertainment, according to FUMAN President, was rated as the best annual fuji talent hunt in Nigeria, based on the quality of organization, method of picking qualifiers, coupled with good integrity of IDL, which powered the events.

After series of appearance, stagemanship, composition and lyrics, backup with danceable fuji vibes, contestants paraded musical skill to the admiration of audience at the show.

All the seven contestants gave a good account of themselves and at the end of highly competitive fuji talent hunt, all the judges eventually picked Ishola Ade “Eriki” as the overall winner.

The second position went to Waheed Olateju while third position went to Afolabi Ibrahim. The trio all went home with cash prize ranging from N350,000, N250,000 and N150,000 each keyboards, gold platted trumpet, Bull brand drinks and T.Shirts, all courtesy IDL.

Ishola Ade “Eriki” also automatically won recording contract and became Bull brands ambassador for the next one year!

“We aimed at promoting fuji music which is popular among Yoruba race, our brands, Bull Dry Gin and Bull Dark Rum, have been consistent with partnering fuji music over years, and it has been wonderful partnership that works. More importantly, Bull brands always identify with grassroots music development, thus giving up coming artistes platform to showcase their talents, via annual Bull Fuji Talent Hunt,” said Mr. Mobolaji Alalade, Head of Marketing, IDL.

Abass Akande Obesere, Rasheed Ayinde, Nurudeen Antenna (Winner of Season 1), Idriss Aloma (Winner of Season 2), Akeem Okiki (Runner’s up Season 2) and outgoing Bull brands ambassador, Muftau Alabi a.k.a Snr. Prefect, also dish out fuji songs, to spice up the grand finale in style!
