The wife of Ondo State Governor, Mrs Betty Anyanwu Akeredolu has challenged the good people of this country to embark on things that will better every Nigerians mostly in the area of industrializing the society so as to make life more meaningful to the common man and to provide job opportunities for the teeming youths.
Mrs Akeredolu who made the assertion on Tuesday during the official opening and commissioning of Unitus Chemical Industry that was newly established in Akure, the Ondo State capital.
According to her, “Am always happy when I see people moving higher in life mostly when you can help your generation and contribute meaningfully to it, I take solace.”
She said, “If every well-to-do Nigerian can endeavour to open and establish at least one industry in a local government, that the country would have been better off than what we have today.”
She later urged investors to emulate the good gesture of High Chief Titus Umenweke, who established a very big company in Akure, where he resides and not his personal hometown.
In his remarks, The Deji of Akure, Oba Aladetoyinbo Aladelusi, said he appreciated the gesture and welcomed the development for it will reduce the level of unemployment in the society as youths will be employed to make life more meaningful to them.
However, the Chief Executive Officer of the Company, High Chief Titus said, he has it in mind to still establish more if God grants him the desire so as to contribute his own quota to the betterment of man kind.
