Governorship candidate of the Action Democratic Party (ADP) in the September 22 election in Osun State, Alhaji Moshood Adeoti has promised that his administration would ensure payment of workers salary every 25th of each month as he had done when he was Chairman of Iwo Local Government.
Speaking at a rally organized by the ADP in Ikirun, headquarter of Ifelodun local government of Osun state, Adeoti said, “if you vote for me on September 22, every policies will be reviewed, We will constitute a panel to look into every project and policy and removed those that are not good.
“We won’t do what people will not like. We won’t pocket our party Chairman. I will allow my Chairman to function. It will not be like a Chairman that is not functioning.
He said the present administration has only deceived workers with promotion without telling them when it will be effective, saying, “When I become Governor by the grace of God, promotion of workers will be effective from January, 2019.
“We will settle workers salary before we embark on any other work. Salary of workers must be paid by the 25th of every month.
Alhaji Adeoti, vowed that he would be sworn in on November 27 as the Governor of the state.
He said, “I will be sworn in on the 27 November as the Governor of this state. When we were taken Rauf Aregbesola around then, we told him that he would be sworn in, and he was sworn in. By the Grace of God, I am going to be sworn in on November 27.”
Also speaking at the rally, the Deputy Governorship candidate of the Party, Professor Adeolu Durotoye mocked the national leader of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Bola Tinubu, for saying that Osun did not have money.
Durotoye who spoke in Ikirun, the headquarters of Ifelodun Local Government Area of Osun State, on Monday, during the ADP rally, described the video circulating on social media where Tinubu told Ataoja of Osogbo, Oba Jimoh Olanipekun, that Osun did not have Gboyega Oyetola’s money, as “proudness and arrogance.
He urged the people of the state to reject the candidate of APC who he described as Lagos candidate.
