President-elect, General Muhammadu Buhari, has said he will revisit the missing $20billion oil money raised by former Central Bank of Nigeria governor and Emir of Kano, Alhaji Sanusi Lamido Sanusi.
Buhari spoke when he received a delegation from Adamawa State who paid a courtesy call on him.
He said his administration would take up the allegation ounce he took over and would not sweep it under the carpet.
Sanusi had alleged that oil proceeds amounting to $20 billion were missing from NNPC account.
The allegation had rankled the Jonathan government, putting it in a difficult situation.
Several meetings were hurriedly convened among the Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister for the Economy, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation and CBN led by Sanusi over the matter.
It was later revealed that the money said to be missing was around $12 billion and was being traced.
Sanusi was removed as CBN governor a few months to the expiration of his tenure as a result of the allegation.
