representing Oluyole state constituency in the Oyo State House of Assembly, Honourable Francis Adetunji has advised the state governor, Engr. Seyi Mankinde to listen more to people in order for him to know other areas of their needs.
Hon Adetunji said the advise became necessary as a way of encouraging the hard working governor to be sensitive to the needs and yearning of the people of the state.
According to him, the needs of the people vary in nature, hence, reason the governor should hearken to them in order for him to ensure even distribution of dividends of democracy and also enjoy their support and confidence.
“For instance, people of my constituency are concerned with good roads, transformers and many other developmental projects. You know without light, it will be difficult to drive the economy, so I am going to embark on these project to give my people adequate representation.”
Hon. Adetunji said plans are on to transform Oluyole constituency to make it business hub of the state since the constituency serves as a major links from other states.
According to the legislator governor Makinde who has been working round the clock to transform the state deserves support and cooperation of the people to make him achieve more.
“I am working on some projects and initiatives to assist the widows, aged, women and children in order to give them succor..”
“I will fulfill my electioneering promises to the people of Oluyole constituency because most the those who voted for me were artisans, like fashion designers, Barbers, traders, mechanics, shoe makers and so on, this is part of my programme for them.’
To achieve his goals and objectives, Hon Adetunji said he would involve the Land Lords association of his constituency in his plan in order to work on their needs and ensue even distributions of the projects.
He appealed to the people of the state to be patient with the current adminstration, assuring them of prompt delivery of dividend of democracy.
