The high royal highness, Eze Jerome Ihedioha of Umueze autonomous community in Ehime, Imo, has debunked report that Mr. Okechukwu Anthony Ifeanyichukwu is not a member of Indigenous People of Biafra Eastern Security Network (IPOB ESN) or sponsoring them in anyway.
Ihedioha in a written and signed statement said the successful businessman and Christian was wrongly accused of engaging in illegal activities of IPOB ESN in Imo state.
The royal father in a statement said, “I am hereby clarifying that the Imo State and Nigerian Government is wrongly accusing him of such activities.
“I am placing this notice because since the death of Late Commander of IPOB ESN (Nwaokike Kayinayo Andy, popularly known as Ikonso from Umuoma, Awomama Village in Oru East LGA of Imo State), we have been seeing many Nigerian Armies, both on uniform and on mufti, and so many strange faces trooping in and out of our community and into Mr. Okechukwu’s house looking for him.
“Meanwhile, the late Commander of IPOB ESN (Nwaokike Kayinayo Andy, popularly known as Ikonso from Umuoma, Awomama Village in Oru East LGA of Imo State) was killed by Nigerian Police Force and their counterpart from the Nigerian Army and DSS in a joint operation on April 24, 2021 in Awomama Village Oru East LGA of Imo State.
“Since then the Nigerian Government has been chasing and accusing Mr Okechukwu A. I of sponsoring the ESN, also the ESN is clamoring that he was the one who betrayed and sold them to the Nigerian Government, which led the ESN to burn down his business and the entire building which contains his business warehouse.
“The Umueze Autonomous Community is hereby notifying the whole world that our dear Son (Okechukwu Anthony Ifeanyichukwu) is innocent from the accusation levels against him by the Nigerian Government.
“Furthermore, we know that Late Ikonso was just a friend to our Son and nothing else was attached to their friendship. Our dear Son is a good man, who likes helping the poor people in our Community; also he’s a member of Eze’s Cabinet in Umueze Autonomous Community in Ehime Imo State.
“Since April 24, 2021 the Nigerian government has been going after our Son, making his life and that of his family miserable and at risk. And because of this issue his father died, and his children stopped going to school.
“This is what I want the whole world to know because our dear Son’s life is at risk.”
