A lawmaker representing Ibarapa North/Central constituency in the Oyo State House of Assembly, Honourable Ojedokun Gbadegesin, has said he will use agriculture to develop his people and the economy of the area.
He disclosed this in a chat with journalists in Ibadan while speaking on his plan to improve and empower his people before the end of his administration.
According to him, the expectations of people in his constituency are high in term of developmental programmes but has determined to put smiles on their faces through various projects and especially agriculture.
He who expressed his belief that the people through Agric business will be self-sufficient and have good means of livelihood said he was a farmer before he came to politics
In his words, “Farming is a very lucrative business which can sustain a nation in a lifetime and that is why I wanted to invest into it, use it to empower and develop our people.
“Since it is my area of specialization, I am going to use it to develop the people especially the young ones to create job opportunities for them in order to establish them and make them self sufficient.”
While calling on the people of Ibarapa North/Central to cooperate with his administration and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) government led by governor Seyi Makinde, the legislator assured them of prompt delivery of dividend of democracy before the end of his government.
