The programme Tosin Bamiji & Friends Live in Concert is Tagged “E Get Why ”
Ministers expected at the concert include Pastor Gbadebo Akeju,Damaris Akhigbe and Min. Tobi Ajiboye (Bazzik T) while the host pastor would be Reverend Dr. Yinka Ololade.
Speaking with Western Post, the Convener, Bamiji a graduate of Microbiology, from the University of Ilorin, said the concert was inspired by the Holy Spirit.
According to him, “in the Bible, we have an example of men who were not oblivion of what God has called them to do on earth.
“The first example is our Lord Jesus Christ. In Luke 4:18-19, Jesus specifically opened the scroll and read out the particular part that was written about him.
“He reads authoritatively as one who knows what God has called him to do. Even in 1 John 3:8b, it is written that he came to destroy the works of the Devil. It is also written that he came to give life even life in abundance.”
He, however, emphasized that, to this effect, it is equally important that as believer, we should have an apt understanding of purpose, particularly what God has called us to do which eventually will make out being on earth meaningful.
The convener disclosed that about 1000 people are expected at the concert.
