Indigenes of Ipokia Commend Amosun on Relocation of MAPOLY

The indigenes of Ipokia Local Government Area in Ogun West Senatorial District of Ogun State has lauded the present administration led by Senator Ibikunle Amosun on his determination to uplift the area through the relocation of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic to the area.
This commendation was given during the visit of the state’s Permanent Secretary in the State Ministry of Youth and Sports , Mr. Joseph Fabi, to his primary school, Ipokia Community Primary School in Ipokia Local Government area of the state.
The visit, which was in line with the promise of Governor Senator Ibikunle Amosun during the 2017 Public Civil Day celebration that all Level 12 and above officers should go back to their primary school and contribute their widows’ mite to the development of the school and also come back with report or recommendation on how government can improve on the existing structure of the such primary schools.
Mr. Fabi expressed gratitude to Governor Amosun for his passion towards development of education, adding that the relocation of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic has been long overdue and would further develop the areas that have been begging for serious attention of government in the area of educational and socio-economic development  since the days of late Chief Olabisi Onabanjo as Governor of the state.
Urging the teachers of the school to be alive to their responsibilities, Mr. Fabi said they should equip the students with adequate knowledge that would help them fit into their future career challenges.
They should at all time take good care of the school facilities like their property in order to justify the pay received from government.
Earlier, the Community Leader, Alhaji Haruna Ojo, who doubled as Chairman, Parents Teachers Association in the area, commended the Permanent Secretary for his intervention and support for the school that was founded in 1934, saying the school has produced so many great personalities across the country particularly in Ogun State.
Also speaking, the Headteacher of Ipokia Community Primary School, Prince Olatunji Adeniyi, commended the government initiatives for ensuring that the schools across the state get necessary attention of old student, assuring that all the staff of the school would continue doing their best to uphold the standard of education in the school.
Highlight of the event was the presentation of some sets of stationary donated to the school for their usage by Mr. Joseph Fabi.
