Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde and his Ogun State counterpart, Dapo Abiodun are currently in a joint security meeting in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital to seek solutions to the challenges of insecurity and to boost the economy of the region.
Report has it that the meeting is in a bid to address security challenges peculiar to Oyo and Ogun states.
The meeting also seeks to address several border challenges.
On his arrival, Governor Makinde was received by the Deputy Governor of the state, Noimat Oyedele at the Gateway City Gate, Sagamu interchange where he inspected a quarter guard mounted by men of the Nigerian Police, Ogun State Command, before he made his way to the venue of the meeting, slated for Presidential Lodge, GRA Ibara Abeokuta, where he was received by the Governor Abiodun
On the entourage of Makinde were the Chief of Staff, Segun Ogunwuyi, security chiefs from Oyo state, among others.
