ISMN: We Salvage Unemployment Menace in Nigeria

The Institute of Strategic Management Nigeria (ISMN) in collaboration with Kwara State University (KWASU), has been training undergraduates on job opportunities as a way  of saving them from joblessness.
The Kwara State Chapter chairman, Dr Paul Adebayo made this disclosure at a press conference held at the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) centre, Ilorin on Saturday, heralding the organization 15th Annual Conference coming up on Thursday, 25th of July this year with the theme, “Strategy and National Development:Entrepreneurship as a gateway to Economy Recovery”.
He said the organization has about two hundred members,with four hundred Associates members and five fellows.
According to him, the organization members are Governors, Commissioners,National Assembly members, director of Ministries among others.
“We train people every year in collaboration with KWASU for the market they will eventually go into, we have been doing this to salvage the current unemployment in the country.
“What we do is more than financial support, we train them to do business, manage it successfully and create network for financial assistance,” he said.
Adebayo commended the recent “Trader Money” initiative by the federal government and its process of distribution.
Earlier, the chairman, local organizing committee, Rev. Kolade Earnest said the organization is a non-governmental and non-profit making establishment.
