Just In: Chief Imam of Sepeteri Dies at 145

The Chief Imam of Sepeteri Land in Saki East Local Government Area of Oyo State, Alhaji Abdul Hammed Salaudeen Ariremako, is dead.

WESTERN POST gathered that Alhaji Ariremako, who was turbaned Chief Imam in 2006, died on Sunday afternoon at the age of 145 at his residence in Sepeteri.

He will be buried according to Islamic rites 10 am today 6th July 2020 at his residence located at Oke-Agoro Sepeteri while his Fidau prayers will take place 10 am on Sunday 12th of July 2020 at Ibuuya Primary School Sepeteri, according to the information from the family and the Sepeteri Muslim Community.

The chairman, Sepeteri Muslim Community, Alhaji Jimoh Kareem Salam Alaikum, described the cleric’s death as painful.

According to him, “He was a humble, gentle and committed Islamic teacher whose tutelage extended beyond Sepeteri Land.”

The chairman also commiserated with the family and the entire Muslim Ummah in Sepeteri land and Saki East at large on the demise of the Islamic leader.
