Mother of Hon. Akintunde Olajide, the lawmaker representing Lagelu State Constituency in the Oyo State House of Assembly, Mrs. Oluwayemisi Stella Olajide is dead.
Westernpost gathered that Mrs. Olajide (Nee Fakeye) died at 67 on Wednesday morning at the Ibadan City Academy Hospital, Iwo Road Ibadan, after a brief illness.
Hon. Olajide who confirmed the passing of his mother described the development as very sad, adding that the body has been deposited in the morgue for further family engagements before details of her final burial will be announced.
Late Mrs. Olajide was an active politician and great mobilizer In Lagelu Local Government Area of the state with a special interest in women empowerment before her death.
