The National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has continued to receive notable political figures in London, United Kingdom after undergoing a successful minor knee surgery.
The latest to visit the former Lagos State governor were two prominent northern political figures: former Zamfara State governor, Alhaji Abdelaziz Yari, and former Sokoto State governor, Senator Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko.
Wamakko has been a long time ally of Tinubu while Yari, former Chairman, Nigerian Governors’ Forum, is angling to be the next APC National Chairman
Tinubu had earlier received in audience President Muhammadu Buhari, Governors Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Kayode Fayemi and Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, who visited separately.
Others who visited him included former governor of Borno State, Senator Kashim Shettima; former governor of Ogun State, Senator Ibikunle Amosun; former APC National Legal Adviser, Dr. Muiz Banire, and a delegation of the Governance Advisory Council of Lagos APC, which included Senator Anthony Adefuye, former Lagos Deputy Governor, Dr. Idiat Adebule and former Commissioner for Finance in the state, Mr. Olawale Edun.
