Kogi 2019: Bello  Is A Performing Governor, Says Kogi Commissioner

Ahead of November 16 Governorship Election in Kogi State, the State Commissioner  for Local Government and  Chieftaincy Affairs, Abubakar Ohere has described Governor Yahaya Bello as a performing governor saying his policies and style of governance are drawing people to closer the government

Ohere who made this known while receiving certificate of endorsement from the Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association, Kogi State chapter on behalf of Governor in Lokoja on Saturday, said the government has show n a lot of Commitment to the welfare of the people in the State.

He explained that no coach will like to change a winning team, adding that governor Yahaya Adoza Bello has done extremely  well in many areas in the last four year

Earlier, the Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association in Kogi State endorsed the governor for the second term in office, claiming that Yahaya Bello’s administration has saved the Fulani leaders from being victims of insecurity in the State.

The National Organising Secretary of Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association, Aliyu Saleh explained that after gruesome murdered of several leaders in the state, the Fulani have been leaving in peace with their various communities.

He added that with the security architecture put in place by the present administration, the Fulani’s are now sleeping with their eyes closed in their various settlements in the state.

Saleh also pointed out that another reason for supporting Bello was that the Governor has appointed one of them, Suleiman Mohammed  as a special adviser in his cabinet , noting that the governor had integrated the Fulanis in the state

He pointed out that over 30000 herdsmen in Kogi will vote for Governor Yahaya Bello come November governorship election in the state.

He said that the Fulani leaders in the state will campaign for Bello from Ruga to Ruga across the 21 local government of the state.
