Kogi State Governor Yahaya Bello has finally reconciled with the former running mate to late APC governorship candidate Alhaji Abubakar Audu in the 2015 election, Honourable James Faleke.
This was part of efforts not to leave any stones unturned as the All Progressive Congress (APC) prepares for the governorship election in Kogi State scheduled for November 16, 2019.
A statement signed by the Chief Press Secretary, Muhammed Onogwu, said Governor Bello received Hon. Faleke in his Abuja residence on Sunday.
The meeting was part of APC efforts to record overwhelming victory at the gubernatorial poll. The two leaders reportedly discussed strategies to adopt for the polls.
It was also an opportunity to engender more collaboration among the party supporters for the purpose of the election.
The leaders, who were obviously elated about their discussion, then posed for photographs immediately after the meeting.
The meeting also had in attendance the Deputy Governorship Candidate and Chief of Staff to the Governor, Edward Onoja.
Faleke had distanced himself from Governor Bello since he profited from the 2015 election he did nt start by being on the ballot.
